A store employee identified 22 year old Brandon Walker as the suspect in the thefts. Sergeant Johnson says as Walker was being walked back to the police car, a dark colored Chrysler swerved onto the side walk at the officer and the suspect. Walker saw this as his chance to escape. He was captured again several hundred yards away. Because of a number of prior theft convictions Walker was charged with a felony theft. Sergeant Johnson says anyone with information about the dark colored Chrysler is asked to call the Police at 477-4600.
