Suspect Arrested After Crashing Stolen Truck

A suspect arrested after crashing a stolen vehicle. The incident taking place in the North San Juan area around 1:30 PM Tuesday. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says a male subject originally attempted to steal a truck from a property on a North San Juan property.

Kasper,-James1The property owners attempted to stop the suspect later identified as James Kasper.

The owners were able to then detain Kasper and called 911.

20 year old James Kasper lists his address as Gainesville, Texas.
Kasper was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
