Suspect Arrested After Entering Woman’s House

Shortly after midnight Monday morning Grass Valley Police got a 9-1-1 call from a distraught woman who said a man had broken into her home on Hughs Road and was refusing to leave.

Grass Valley Police Sgt. Dan Kimbrough says at that point 30 year old Justin Bristow was located and taken into custody. He told officers he found a key to the house near the front door and that’s how he got inside.

The woman was advised not to leave a key to the house outside in plain view and Bristow was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on a felony charge of Burglary. His bail was set at $50,000.
