A suspect that had been arrested last week for stealing items from a vacant house is back in jail for more theft related activity. Grass Valley Police arrested 25 year old Grant McInnis and an accomplice for allegedly stealing a shop vac and a marine air horn from a Bennett Street residence early last week. After being release, McInnis was arrested again Sunday, this time for vehicle theft.
Officers took the report and entered the information to the system. Later that afternoon, the vehicle and suspect were located.
While being processed at the scene, McInnis began to present physical issues.
After being transported and evaluated at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, Grant McInnis was cleared and released to the CHP and then booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. Because McInnis was also on bail for previous burglaries, enhancements will be added to his charges.
