Suspect Arrested for Multiple Charges in Grass Valley

A suspect was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges after Grass Valley Police officers assisted the District Attorney in apprehending the suspect for a combination of marijuana cultivation, battery, and false impersonation charges. Captain Rex Marks says the suspect, Tyden Max Balais 26, was taken into custody at the 500 block of east Main Street in Grass Valley.

Balais had allegedly initially identified himself as his brother.  Other officers on patrol recognized the name.

Balais was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on multiple charges.
