A man arrested for drug related charges early Friday morning at a Highland Court address was arrested again Saturday on fresh drug charges. 38 year-old James Hannan stated during his Friday morning arrest that the heavy foot traffic around the residence after midnight was because he was moving and people were coming by to help. Less than 24 hours later, Grass Valley Police Lieutenant Alex Gammelgard says officers were called back to the same address because Hannan had yet to vacate residence and was causing a disturbance.

It took several officers to restrain the subject and it was also necessary to implement a handheld taser in order to subdue the man. The subject was also determined to be under the influence of methamphetamine. Once subdued, the man was transported to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
