Suspect Attempts To Walk From Accident

An Auburn woman was found walking away from a suspected drunk driving accident. CHP Public Information Officer Greg Tassone says an accident was reported on Alexis Way near Dark Horse golf course Monday evening. Tassone says the 21 year-old woman was driving her 2002 Acura when she lost control and ran off the road.

A preliminary test showed the driver was two and a half times the legal limit for driving under the influence. The driver was found walking away from the accident scene and taken into custody.
