Suspect From November Attempted Murder in Custody

A suspect from an alleged attempted murder in the Truckee area back in November is now in custody at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. According to Nevada County Sheriff Sgt Sam Brown, 43 year old Jeffery Miller, had moved in with the victim and her mother and on the night of November 23rd he became quite aggressive.

The victim’s mother tried to intervene and was allegedly threatened as well.

A warrant for Miller’s arrest was issued November 26th.
Details of his arrest were not available. However, he was transferred to Nevada County from a facility in El Dorado County.
