Suspect Hearing Voices Arrested for Child Endangerment

A woman arrested after hearing voices and being under the influence. According to Sheriff Keith Royal, a call came in Sunday afternoon from a concerned friend.

The original caller explained the woman’s bizzare behavior and an additional concern about a passenger in the vehicle.

Responding officers confirmed the behavior of the woman and did a further evaluation.

As a result Mellisa Vlasman was arrested on several charges.

The child endangerment charge is a felony. Vlasman was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. The child was taken into custody and released to Child Protective Services.
