Suspect Identified in Penn Valley Assault

Twenty-nine year old Brice Peeler has been identified as the suspect and is being sought by the Sheriff’s Office following a late night assault with a deadly weapon incident that occurred Wednesday just after midnight on Black Forest Rd in Penn Valley. Sheriff Keith Royal describes the incident.

Peeler, a white 5’11 170 lb male is a local transient that is not unfamiliar to local law enforcement. Sheriff Royal says Peeler should be considered armed and dangerous.

The appearance of vehicle Peeler is known to use may have been altered.

Peeler is a known drug user as well as in possession of guns.
Any person knowing Peeler’s whereabouts should contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately at 265-7880.
