Suspect in Custody for Stealing Harps

One man is in jail and several harps recently reported as stolen have been recovered. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a alert witness saw several of the harps at the Denio’s auction in Roseville on Sunday. The witness had heard the media coverage of the stolen musical instruments.

The Sheriff says Roseville Police responded and took one man into custody for receiving stolen property. Several items were recovered.

Roseville Police arrested 47 year old Dean Martinez of Colusa. He was booked into jail where his bail was set at 175 thousand dollars. Investigators are working to recover more of the stolen property.
