Suspect In Terrorizing Girl Sent To State Hospital

About a year after his arrest for allegedly grabbing and terrorizing a 10-year-old girl at a Grass Valley park, Christian Stevens has been sent to the state mental hospital in Napa. The incident took place at Condon Park and the girl was able to break free, by hitting the suspect with her trumpet case. Newell says his office is still determined to prosecute Stevens. He says Stevens’ treatment could last anywhere from a few weeks to a number of months. An update is scheduled for December 2nd.
