Suspect Re-Arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon

The suspect in the stabbing incident at the Center for The Arts in Grass Valley Saturday night has been re-arrested. Friday afternoon, Steven Robledo Jr. was arrested at his place of work for two counts of assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily harm. Grass Valley Police Lt. Steve Johnson says the incident began around 11:30 PM on Saturday when officers were called to a reported stabbing at the a concert at the Center.

The suspect, Robledo, had been taken into custody Saturday night but originally told detectives he was acting in self defense- but that turned out to not be the case. Details became more clear throughout the week.*

Officers took additional evidence to a judge earlier today and a warrant for Robledo’s arrest was issued.

Johnson says the two victims are recovering.

Lt Johnson is asking anyone with more information about the incident to contact Grass Valley police detectives.
