Suspect Runs to Police in Thanksgiving Arrest

Grass Valley Police officers didn’t have to chase down a suspect Thanksgiving night- he ran to right to them. At 11:00 PM Thursday, Keith Rushing, 19, was chased right to police officers that were waiting in a parked patrol car.
Grass Valley Police Sergeant, Alex Gammelgard, explains what occurred as officers apprehended the suspect.

Once in custody, the officers discovered additional evidence beyond the theft from the car.

Rushing was booked into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility for drug charges, possession of stolen property,  theft, and prowling.
