Suspect Steals Credit From Sister

A woman that felt sorry for her sister because she was down on her luck in early December, invited her to stay with her while getting back on her feet. According to Sheriff Keith Royal suspect, Jaime McAlpin, found it easier to take advantage of her sister rather than get a job.

The victim investigated a bit farther and made additional discoveries about her sister’s activities.

Mcalpin,-Jamie1Sheriff’s detectives were able to identify Jamie McAlpin through video surveillance footage taken from several businesses where McAlpin had made purchases using the stolen cards and new cards.

Wednesday evening, Jamie McAlpin was taken into custody at a Bush Rd residence for burglary of the credit cards and using unauthorized information to obtain additional cards. Additional charges may also be pending.
