Suspected Child Molester Arrested in Auburn

Auburn Police Wednesday evening went to an apartment   located in the 1000 block of Red Hawk Lane and arrested 36 year old Joshua Grant for sexually molesting a nine year old girl. The sex acts allegedly occurred sometime in 2011, but were reported on  June 26th of this year  after the girl told her mother about the  incidents.
Grant, who is a resident of Auburn, is currently being held in the Placer County Jail on
two million dollar bail. The investigation is continuing and if anyone has any information in reference to this matter,
they are asked to  call Detective Dustin Mclaughlin at  Auburn Police Department (530) 823-4237 ext 221.
