Suspects Sought in Gun Shop Burglary

A Grass Valley area gun shop has been hit by burglars. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says it occurred at Mustang Firearms, on Alta Street, at around 8 Wednesday morning, about an hour before it was to open. The store owner believes around 20 handguns of miscellaneous make and model were stolen. And Royal says since the suspects got in and out of the shop in such a short amount of time, the crime was likely planned…

Royal says the suspects were driving a newer, gunmetal grey, Nissan “Juke”. Pictures of the suspects, as well as the vehicle, have been posted with the story on our website. Anyone with information is asked to call 265-1263.
