Dardick says he will also now have time to complete his memoir about his family’s adventures travelling in a Volkswagon bus to India in the early 1970’s, as well as growing up in Nevada County along the river. He officially steps down, following the 20th anniversary of the Yuba River Cleanup Day on September 16th.
