SYRCL Hosts Yuba River Cleanup Day Saturday

Last year, they picked up 15-thousand pounds of garbage. This year, volunteers hope to top that. Over 700 of them will be out along the Yuba River watershed tomorrow (Saturday) for the 19th annual Yuba River cleanup, organized by the South Yuba River Citizens League. Volunteers will be out from 9am to noon, which will be followed by a lunch and party, which this year will be at Pioneer Park, instead of out at Bridgeport. SYRCL’s clean up day started several environmental cleanup effors around the state–many of them happening tomorrow.
