SYRCL Now Part Of Worldwide Waterkeeper Alliance

A prestigious selection for the South Yuba River Citizens League. The Waterkeeper Alliance Board has named them as the “Yuba River Waterkeeper” and new member of the Alliance, which was established 15 years ago. The organization’s National Director, Pete Nichols, says there are 282 waterkeepers in 34 countries, with 12 in California…

In a statement, Executive Director Caleb Dardick says the Waterkeeper’s aim is to combine SYRCL’s 33-year record of strong, local grassroots advocacy with the power of the Alliance.
