The second straight storm system to begin on Sunday and last through Monday should bring rainfall totals close to, if not a bit above, normal, according to meteorologist Eric Kurth, with the National Weather Service in Sacramento. He says that’s encouraging, but the rainy season is just getting underway…
Kurth says this system has been colder and stronger than the previous one, especially in the Sierra…
And although it’s, once again, expected to stay dry through Saturday, Kurth says another system could be on the way for the same time frame for the third straight week, or sometime on Sunday.
