Taste of Grass Valley Tries New Venue

Everyone agrees the spirit of the event, the wines, and the food were outstanding at the Taste of Grass Valley- Fall Wine and Food Festival Saturday in Downtown Grass Valley. Jacque Wilson of the Sierra Vintners Association was excited about the possibilities of the event.

However some participants missed the shaded and grassy venue of the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The event co-sponsored by the Grass Valley Downtown Association and the Sierra Vintners Association was held at the Gold Miners Inn-Holiday Inn Express and split between the parking lot “Tasting Village” and a VIP patio area within the Holiday Inn.

The patron was quick to say that she enjoys the wine and and food at the event.

On a related note… Grass Valley Fire Department should be commended for responding to what turned out to be minor incident, but arrived at the event, entered and treated the patron without causing any interference or disruption. The patron had apparently fainted.
