IRS Spokesperson Richard Panick says that over 5000 eligible tax returns were filed from Nevada County residents and over 10 million dollars was put in their pockets through Earned Income Tax Credit last year.

The average credit in Nevda County was $1766 dollars. It comes as cash in your refund.
Panick says that the formula for the tax credit is a combination of income adn number of children.
