Tax-Exempt Organizations Need to File Reports

Organizations claiming to be tax exempt are facing the deadline to file annual reports with the IRS. There are over 300 registered tax-exempt organizations in Western Nevada County that are required to file annual reports to maintain tax-exempt status. Richard Panick with the Internal Revenue Service says those reports are due by May 15, which is Wednesday.
