Technology Helps Stolen Ipod Get Returned

A stolen Ipod found its way back to its owner thanks to technology. Grass Valley Police Sgt Steve Johnson says that in April a report was taken of a stolen Ipod from a lock at Sierra College. Apparently the thief then sold the device to a local pawn shop and someone else then purchased it from the pawn shop. Fortunately the original victim had reported the stolen Ipod to Itunes.

Sgt. Johnson says that the arrest never would have occurred if the owner of the Ipod had not registered the device.
