Another local teenager has been taken into custody related to the homicide of Lake of the Pines resident, Cameron Myers. Nevada County Sheriff has confirmed that a additional suspect was taken into custody by investigators Tuesday afternoon at Bennett and Ophir Streets in Grass Valley. The Sheriff says when the suspect was confronted he tried to run.

Cameron Myers was found in the Hunters Point area of San Francisco, May 15, with fatal stab wounds. Local investigators along with inspectors from San Francisco took one juvenile suspect into custody shortly after the victim was found. The Sheriff says the entire incident took place in San Francisco. Sheriff’s investigators got word that the juvenile suspect had been seen in the area and were actively looking for him. The juvenile will be taken to San Francisco to answer charges.
