Teen Fire Bomber Arrested in Granite Bay

Placer County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 15-year-old Granite Bay boy Thursday on four counts of attempted homicide following a firebombing late Wednesday night. He is being held at the Placer County Juvenile Hall in Auburn.

Erwin says it was the smoke alarm that alerted the residents of the fire.

The suspect was also charged with throwing an incendiary or destructive device.
