Teen Hit on Dog Bar Road

A Nevada County teenager is recovering from injuries after apparently running out in front of a pickup truck. Highway Patrol Officer Justin Barnthouse says a 33 year-old driver was on Dog Bar Road at about 5 o’clock yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon, and saw the 16 year-old on the edge of the road…

Barnthouse says the injury could have been worse, but the teen almost got back out of the way…

The teenager may have been playing ‘chicken’ with oncoming traffic. The C-H-P is still investigating.
