Thanks Ghidotti

Actually, thanks to everyone that took part in the Ag Mechanics and Junior Livestock Auctions at this past week’s Nevada County Fair.  The generosity of the local businesses and individuals was amazing, including Fair Family of the year patriarch, Eddie Garcia.  On my talk show last Friday, I talked with Autumn from Meadowlarks 4H, who was concerned that she might not get much money for her swine, since it suffered an injury to its leg and was last in show.  She was hoping that she might break even with the money she invested in her project.  Then…in steps the Ghidotti Foundation…and they give her a very generous price per pound to not only make a handsome profit, but she can pursue her dreams in her college education.  It made Autumn’s Fair…and mine, too.

That was a great story Mr. Fitzsimmons. Acts like this is what makes Grass Valley the greatest community on the map.
I have lived here for 17 years and everyday I am so thankful to live here and to see my two grand daughters grow up here. A big THANKS to you Mr. Fitzsimmons and the staff at KNCO for all you do for this community.
