Thanksgiving Travel Up Sharply This Year

More people are predicted to be headed out of town for the holiday weekend this year. The annual Triple-A survey of Thanksgiving travel shows 5.6 million Californians plan to travel 50 miles or more this holiday weekend, with 4.8 million of those people traveling by car. That’s also true if you return on Sunday. Harris says this year’s holiday travel is expected to be the busiest since 2007.
