The Best Deal for the Best Idea

Filmmaker Ken Burns has done lots of great work, and one of my favorites is the series on America’s National Park…”America’s Best Idea”.  They really are wonderful and so many exceptional parks, including iconic Yosemite National Park, are an easy drive from where we live.  The best deal is one that anyone and everyone over 62 should take advantage of…and that is the Senior Pass.  For 10 dollars, if means lifetime admissions to the nation’s national parks and monuments, easily a fantastic bargain.  And what was neat, is that my wife, Roxanne, was able to get her card locally at the US Forest Office off Coyote St in Nevada City.  There is a rumor that the price will be doing up sharply soon…so…if you have not gotten your card…get it now.
