The Wine Company Tasting Room Closing in Grass valley

The wine company tasting room on Mill Street in Grass Valley will be closing it’s doors at the end of the Month.   Bent Metal Winery, Pilot Peak Vineyard and Winery, and Solune Winegrowers originally established the Mill Street tasting room two and a half years ago with the goal of expanding the marketing of their brands and reaching the many visitors that frequent the downtown area.  Pilot Peak owner Lynn Wilson says they have accomplished what they set out to do.

Wilson says another factor in closing The Wine Company storefront was that the wineries now have a big presence in the new Grass Valley Downtown Visitors Center.

Wilson says the winery partners are hoping now that people have had a chance to taste their wines at the Mill Street tasting room they  will now visit at their respective winery tasting rooms, to experience new wines and old favorites and enjoy the winery ambiance.
