Theater Manager Charged with Embezzlement

An assistant manager at a Grass Valley movie theater has been charged with embezzling several thousand dollars. Grass Valley Police Sgt Steve Johnson says an internal investigation by theater management discovered that over 8000 dollars had gone missing beginning in 2013 and identified 22 year old Matthew Murray as a suspect. At that point Grass Valley Police were notified and detectives began their own investigation.

Murray was booked and then released on 10,000 dollars bail.
