Philbrook and Daniel Devencenzi were both in a Nevada jail when they were arrested for the shooting death of 27-year-old Isaac Zafft, a Minnesota native. Devencenzi and the third suspect, Finley Fultz, who was arrested in Butte County, have already been arraigned. Fultz is believed to be the shooter. The trio are charged with first degree murder in the course of a robbery, which makes it a potential death penalty case. But District Attorney Cliff Newell recently stated that he will not seek capital punishment.
