This Is Your One Week Notice

Next Friday I won’t be here.  I will be busy setting up for my annual sale.  I am honored to be a part of a very prestigious group of crafters in Yuba City called the Goose.

Next Friday evening from 5 to 9, and then Saturday from 9 to 3 the Goose sale will be going on.  There are twenty-five members of the Goose and we create a wide variety of items that have to be seen to be appreciated.  I specialize in turned woods.

This year my inventory will include a couple of new items.  In addition to the beautiful and unique pens, bookmarks, and bottle stoppers, I have added Seam Rippers and Salt & Pepper mills.  The Seam Rippers are perfect for anyone who sews, they are double ended with a seam ripper blade on one end and a sewing stiletto on the other.  The Salt Grinders are made from beautiful Maple Burl.  The Pepper Grinders are either locally harvested Walnut, or stabilized Redwood Burl.

I hope to see you next friday evening or Saturday at St. Isadores Church Multipurpose Room in Yuba City.  It’s on Clark Ave, just take 20 all the way through Marysville and over the bridge to Yuba City.  Stay on 20 to Clark until you get to Clark, then turn left.  You’ll go past Yuba City High about 3 blocks.  St Isadores is on the right, the Goose is held in the building behind the church so you’ll need to drive to the back parking lot.  One more word of warning, we are an old fashioned group and accept only cash or personal checks….sorry no ATM or credit cards accepted.
