Three suspects arrested following a pursuit through Grass Valley early Monday morning. The sequence of events actually started several weeks ago. Grass Valley Police Lt. Alex Gammelgard says there had been a rash of vandalism and gasoline thefts in the Whispering Pines area. Grass Valley Police started extra patrols in the area. Then last night suspicious activity was observed by on-duty officers.

The vehicle sped away as officers turned onto Whispering Pines to follow it.

The officers lost sight of the suspect vehicle, but a second patrol saw the vehicle had doubled back and was heading back towards Idaho-Maryland.

A perimeter was set and eventually all three suspects were apprehended.
An adult woman, Stephanie Arnberg, and a 17 year old girl were charged with obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest for running after the car stopped in the parking lot.
A 21 year old male, Brandon Dall, was booked into the jail for evading a peace officer with disregard for safety, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia, child endangerment for reckless driving with a minor in the vehicle, and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
