Three Arrested For One Call at Animal Shelter

Three women were taken to jail after a altercation over a car erupted. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a 33 year old daughter tried to get her mother to give her a car. A confrontation erupted after the mother 56 year old Loree Wade of Grass Valley refused. The Sheriff says the majority of the altercation was over when deputies arrived at Sammy’s Friends on McCourtney Road on Saturday. The daughter was found to be under the influence of dangerous drugs, and taken into custody.The Sheriff says the mother had a felony warrant for her arrest. Deputies searched the car the daughter arrived in.

The Sheriff says in addition to finding suspected meth amphetamine a total of 78 used syringes were found. 39 year old Regina Acuff was taken into custody for suspicion of possession of meth amphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia.
