Three Arrested On Pot Meth and Heroin Charges

Three people have been arrested, after significant amounts of drugs were found in their vehicle. Nevada County Sheriff’s Captain Paul Schmidt says they were stopped in front of Cedar Ridge Market on Highway 174 for not signalling at a turn. He says a deputy smelled a strong odor of marijuana…

Schmidt says a one-pound bag of marijuana, two one-ounce bags of marijuana, 219 grams of methamphetamine, and 72 grams of heroin were found concealed underneath a door panel. He says the number of drug arrests this week is somewhat unusual but not unheard of…

One of the suspects is from Grass Valley, 32-year-old Jessica Henkel. The other two are from Sacramento: 33-year-old Robert Tabarez and 32-year-old Anthony Vigil. Charges include drug possession and transporting drugs for sale.
