Three Men Stuck In Snow Rescued From Carr Lake

The first significant snowfall in more than a month also complicated a camping trip for a Grass Valley man, who had to be rescued, along with two friends, Monday night. Trygg says other than being a bit cold the men suffered no ill effects. A German shepard was also rescued. The elevation of Carr Lake is around 67-hundred feet. It’s north of Lake Spaulding, in the eastern part of the county, and is a popular hiking and camping destination.
