Three Teens Arrested In Car Theft Case

Grass Valley Police had their hands full with the arrest of three teenagers this week. A stolen Honda Civic was recovered after a traffic stop on South Auburn Street near Colfax Avenue Monday. 18 year-old William Henderson of Grass Valley and 18 year-old Kyle Short of Nevada City were arrested on suspicion of the theft. Police say Henderson also was in posession of a controlled substance, and Short had counterfeit 20-dollar bills. Police Sergeant Steve Johnson says there was also a 15 year-old girl in the car.
