Tips From the Fair (or How to Get Rid of Critters)

The Nevada County Resource Conservation District has put together a list of tips from community members on how to rid of pests–such as bears, deer, gophers, raccoons, skunks, and other unwanted critters. Other suggestions: placing dog hair around your fence will keep deer away, and spraying garbage cans with Pine-sol or ammonia will discourage bears. The flyer was sent out last week. Click here to view it.
