Today is National Safe Digging Day

Nevada County Supervisors are cooperating with Underground Utilities Companies and the Office of Emergency Services to remind contractors and property owners to call 811 before you dig.

The Nevada County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution in support of National Safe Digging Day and encourage all excavators, homeowners and professional contractors to call 811 in advance of digging projects.
