Traffic Stop leads to re-arrest of man out on bail

The California Highway Patrol arrested a suspect on three felony charges last evening, one of which was committing a Felony while out on Bail. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says the stop was made on Hwy 49, south of McKnight Way.

35-year old Nathaniel Hubbert was a passenger in the vehicle and during the course of the investigation the officer determined that Hubbert was out on bail from prior charges. Then the officer noticed Hubbert was in possession of some controlled substances.

Also during the investigation Hubbert was found to be in possession of some stolen property, unrelated to the possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

Hubbert was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on three Felony charges, Possession of a Controlled Substance for sale, Transport of a controlled substance and Committing a felony while out on bail. He also faces two Misdemeanor charges for Possession of a controlled substance and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
