Transit Center Officially Opens Wednesday

Even though it’s been open for a year, Nevada County is holding a Grand Opening for the Tinloy Transit Center tomorrow (Wednesday). Transit Services Manager Susan Healy-Harman says she wanted to wait until everything to do with the project was done…

There will be a short ceremony with brief speeches from those involved in the project, and Healy-Harmon will cut a ceremonial swath of caution tape..

The Grand Opening is at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the Transit Center, on Tinloy Avenue between Bank and Bennett Streets. There will also be a shuttle bus available from the Rood Center in Nevada City, which will leave at 9:55am.
