Treat Street, Livestock Auction Set Fair Records

And while the number of lots for the Ag Mechanics Auction was down slightly, the amount of money was up, and for what has been referred to as the ‘life blood of the fair’, the Junior Livestock Auction set a new record…

Callender says his goal was 525-thousand, so the auction exceeded expectations. Work on next year’s fair begins in January. The next main event at the Fairgrounds is the Draft Horse Classic, which begins on Thursday.
