Tree into Propane Tank in Alta Sierra

Wild winds around 10:00 AM Tuesday morning started a number of incidents involving toppled trees. the CHP responded to at least eight calls between 10 and noon. One incident involving trees into power lines and a propane tank in Alta Sierra. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says they were involved with traffic control on Names street.

Power lines and a tree were also across the roadway.

Tassone says that CHP was also on standby if there were to be any evacuations.

Once the propane was shut off it became a matter of cleanup of debris and PG and E re-establishing power.
