Truckee CHP Nab More Out-of State Pot Transporters

Another carload of out-of-state passengers passing through Truckee is caught transporting a load of marijuana back to their home state. Thursday afternoon a Truckee CHP officer monitoring east bound traffic at the base of Donner Summit spotted a Hyundai sedan with a GPS devise mounted in the center of the windshield which is a vehicle code violation in California. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle a short distance away.

Sebastian Canales of Ingleside, Texas and Jacob Trout and Adrian Webb, both from Arnasas, Texas, were arrested for possession and transport of marijuana for sale and conspiracy charges. Trout also had an out-of-state warrant for his arrest.
