Truckee Hotel Gets Sixth Five-Diamond Rating

A hotel in Nevada County is one of only three in Northern California to be awarded the prestigious Triple-A Five Diamond Award for 2016. The Agency says these establishments represent the upper echelon of hospitality and ultra-luxury service. The general manager of the Ritz-Carlton in Truckee, Joseph Mattioli,says it’s the sixth straight year they’ve received the award….

Triple-A says Five Diamond lodgings are establishments chosen for providing refined, stylish and upscale physical attributes, where guests receive indulgent pampering and personalized attention. Rates for the Ritz-Carlton range from 819 to 15-hundred-49 dollars a night. The other two north state hotels awarded are the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco and Chateau Du Sureau in Oakhurst, both also frequent winners.
