Turkey Trot Making a Difference

One families pledge to fight depression and mental health related suicide has become a focal point of community support. The 9th Annual Michael Bratton II Turkey Trot drew over 2000 participants Thanksgiving morning. Though the Turkey Trot is a festive occasion and many of the people were celebrating Thanksgiving and enjoying the time to reunite with people, Mike Bratton Senior also reminded the group that its not all a celebration.

This was my first year doing the Turkey Trot. I thought it was an amazing experience! I really enjoyed hearing Mike tell everyone his family's story. They did a beautiful job putting it all together and raising awareness. I will be back next year with my family!
