It’s one of the premier Halloween events for families with young children. The Fall Family Festival at Twin Cities Church is planned for Saturday evening, from 5 to 8 p.m.
After having to move things indoors last year, Pastor John Fairchild says they decided to keep some of the games and entertainment events inside to give them more room for parking and activities outside.
All of the events are free and this year they will have an even bigger hot air balloon for children to take rides in plus lots of bounce houses and games for all ages. Fairchild says they collect 2 thousand pounds, or one ton of candy to give out, so there’s plenty to go around.
Because the event draws up to 4 thousand visitors, parking is suggested at the Scotten and Lyman Gilmore school parking lots. A free continuous shuttle will take people to and from the event. Reasonably priced food will also be available, everything else is free. Twin Cities Church is located at 11726 Rough and Ready Highway.
